Directions from Minneapolis and St. Paul
- Drive south from the Twin Cities on U.S. 52 toward Rochester. Stay
on U.S. 52 through Rochester.
- Continue south from Rochester on U.S. 52 for 30 miles, to Fountain,
Minn., population 363. On the south edge of town, as the highway
curves, watch for the sign for Fillmore County 8. Turn left onto
Fillmore County 8.
- Continue 9 miles on Fillmore County 8 to Lanesboro. The last half-mile
is a steep downhill grade, which puts you in downtown Lanesboro.
- Turn right at the stop sign onto Parkway Avenue, which is also
Fillmore County 250. Brewster's Red Hotel is a hundred yards down
the street on your left.
- Park your car and check in. We'll direct you to our off-street
parking lot, which is behind the hotel.
